Paul Duncan is a Los Angeles-based songwriter who has found success in multiple genres, ranging from country to CCM to TV/Film and everywhere in between. Duncan first hit the scene with Sherrie Austin’s, “Streets of Heaven,” a top 20 country single that earned him an ASCAP award. Since that time, Duncan has been writing songs for CCM artists such as Lauren Daigle (“Light of the World,” “Once and For All,” “I Am Yours,” “Now is Forever”), Jordan Feliz (“Beloved,” “Satisfied”), Meredith Andrews (“Impossible,” “Start With Me”), while continuing to land more songs on country radio (Matt Stillwell’s “Ignition”). In addition, his songs have been placed on TV shows such as Boston Legal, The Hills, Crime Watch Daily, Extra, Jersey Shore, and The Real World; and he’s produced original tracks and compositions for Samsung, Wendy’s, the Criterion Collection, Applegate Farms, and many others.
Also a multi-instrumentalist, Duncan has also served as guitarist/keyboardist for acts 98 Degrees, Nick Lachey, Mindy McCready, Mercy Street (RCA), and Sense Field (Nettwerk). Along with his songwriting, production and touring endeavors, he is the co-host and co-founder of the podcast, “Songcraft: Spotlight on Songwriters.” Duncan lives with his wife Jeami and daughter Elliotte in southern California.
