Happy New Year! As a way to welcome in the new year, we wanted to share a throwback CentricWorship song that was not only on the 2nd CentricWorship Retreat EP – Come Alive, but also recorded by Aaron Shust on his Doxology album. These are great words of worship and truth to sing as we start 2019, and of course, for a lifetime!

We recently sat down with Lauren Lee, co-writer of and featured vocalist on “Show Me Your Glory,” to talk about this faith-inspiring worship song that was written at the 2017 CentricWorship retreat.

If you’re like me, you think a lot about song choice in congregational worship. Crafting a service full of great songs is a high priority as a music leader. The aspect of song choice I dwell on the most is how the words we are singing affect the congregation and overall purpose, vision, and health of the church.

“Jesus Have Your Way” is a song that was written at our worship writers retreat last year in Washington state; and we want to share it with you! Written by Gary Rea, Paul Duncan & Krissy Nordhoff, the song reflects on inviting Jesus to have His way in our lives, and going deeper with Him. We pray that it ministers to you and your local church.
